Watlington extensions and reconfiguration

A major programme of renovations and extensions to a late Victorian house in an Oxfordshire market town. The existing property was updated to meet the needs of modern living with a full “strip out” and refurbishment along with significant reconfiguration. Large modern extensions to the rear and side created an interesting juxtaposition between old and new thanks to great work from Maurice Friel Architects.

The complete stripping out gave an opportunity to install underfloor heating to the ground floor and for the entire property to be run from an air-source heat pump.
